Our Story
Mainstream Marketing was formed in 1990 by Jack Robertson with a clear mission: represent outdoor manufacturers with integrity, hard work, and disciplined field execution across the Southwest.
Mike Haring joined in 1993 and purchased ownership in 2001, building Mainstream into a balanced hunting-and-fishing rep firm with two staffed Texas offices: Katy and Nacogdoches.
Today, our team supports key accounts, independent dealers, and a portfolio of 20 represented factories across Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.
Our Journey
Mainstream Formed
Mainstream Marketing was founded by Jack Robertson to represent hunting and fishing manufacturers in the Southwest.
Mike Haring Joined
Mike Haring joined Mainstream in January and began covering South Texas and key accounts, including Academy Sports + Outdoors.
Ownership Transition
Mike Haring purchased Mainstream Marketing and led the agency through its next phase of growth.
Sales Leadership Expanded
Dex Doolittle joined as Sales Manager and Academy sales support from the Katy headquarters.
Katy Office Operations Strengthened
Phil Aycock joined Mainstream to lead office management and Academy-focused sales support in Katy.
Territory Coverage Deepened
Mark Hall joined to expand outside sales support in Arkansas and Oklahoma while strengthening regional account coverage.
